Did what you do over the weekend impact anyone for Christ's sake? I could stop there and not say anything else and you would get the picture. Everything is on purpose, there are no mistakes or accidents everything is an opportunity. Did you take that opportunity to give out a track or encourage someone this weekend? I know that it is something I need to work on. Its hard to live life as a true friend. Its something I need to turn to Christ for.
This weekend reading through the first 4 chapters in Romans the Lord just reinforced in my mind that salvation is through faith. I know that and I have accepted the fact that Christ is the one that saves me not my good works. Reading about it again did so much for me. It is such an amazing thing, Gods grace. Without it there would be no hope. On Wed. Phil Hall and I went to a guys house for visitation we were able to spend about 20 min just talking about life and building a relationship then we asked him if he wanted to go to church on Sunday, it was almost immediately that he said "YES, I do". We were excited about that. Well once in the car we both started to sing that song about Gods grace, I cant remember the name but the words go:
Grace, Grace gods grace
grace that will pardon and cleanse within...
I cant remember all the words now but we stopped right after that and were like, man I love singing about Gods grace. It was so neat to spend the next 10 min as we went back to church talking about the day we met Gods grace. It was so great to spend that time sharing what God has done in our life.
