Acts 8:26-27 (KJV) 26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. 27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
When the Lord called Phillip to go into the desert he said yes. The desert is obviously not the most pleasant place on the earth, nor is it the place that anybody would want to serve, but the Lord had a call. Am I willing to answer that call, no matter what. If God called me to a "closed" country would I go, if I was called to a church of 5 would I go, If God called me home would I leave this world in the place that God has called me. See I'm not just talking about future ministry but present ministry, am I in the place that God wants me to be on February 5, 2006. What if Gods plans change, would I go williningly or would I drag my feet out of a lack of faith. He sees tomorrow why should I fear what may come?
