Lessons from the life of Samson

* While Samson had control of his great power, he unfortunately did not have the same control over his passion
* The downfall of Samson was not due to failure on God’s part, but it was due to Samson’s uncontrolled pride and sinful passion
* For the first time in years, he [Samson] realized he had to throw himself on the mercy of God and depend on His help- “remember me”
* Samson realized many victories and yet suffered many losses. While Samson was able to defeat the strongest of men, he was defeated and humiliated by the weakest of women
