Works of God: The many great names of God

He is the Kings of Righteousness! I am in no way a righteous person. So how can I do anything that the Lord would use. Its through His righteousness. Christ not only was righteous but he also chose to give us His righteousness. Lord, I know I am not worthy, but I rejoice in Your finished work and gift on the cross.

He is the King of Peace! It is only to the righteous that He gives peace. I wonder so many times why there is no peace in my soul. O, things may not be going so bad outwardly, but inwardly there is turmoil and unrest. It is only when I am living in tune with Him that I can have total peace.

But greatest of all, what makes Him the King of Righteousness and the King of Peace, is that He is Separate from Sinners. Christ was not born of man. He came to earth through a virgin. If any one doubts that or denies that then there can be no way that Christ was separate from Sinners. because He was born of a virgin and in Him was no sin, sure He was tempted as we are but in the end He was without sin. Praise the Lord he gave us a hope. He became sin for us, He took my sins on the cross. Lord never let me stop giving You praise and thanksgiving for being Separate from Sinners for without it I would have no hope.
