I have never been so challenged in my life as I have been this past week. It is good to be with my fellow students again and to build stronger relationships in Christ. Opening week of school was fun, overwhelming, and also very tuff. I am looking forward to the classes but more importantly what the Lord has in store for me the next several weeks. I have come to a place where I am only depending on the Lord for strength and guidance. Gods word has not returned void before nor will it at any time in the future.
Today we were challenged in church with the faith of Isaac. Even through all of his downfalls and wrong choices Isaac is mentioned in the faith chapter. What an encouragement to press on in Faith. Then in the word I have been spending a good amount of time in Psalms. It has been a few years since I have gone through them and so the impact has been greater. It seems like the older I get (and I am not all that old) the more the Psalms mean to me. So, where is my focus? When the things of life gather around us we must look unto the Lord who is our strength.
