Works of God: Salvation

OK its been a while since I've updated so here is my most recent WOG email

I Tim 1:15 (NIV) Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners--of whom I am the worst.

I don't want to get into the whole predestination argument (however I don't think you can ignore predestination because in black and white the Bible says that we are predestinated) but WOW this verse spoke to me today as I read it in my devotions. Christ came to earth to save sinners, in that I have no more need. I can look at the situations facing me in the near future and those I am facing right now and get all discouraged about it or I can look at the one thing I can know for sure -- Gods Grace. I can get caught up so many times in the now and forget that I am so blessed to be saved, that Christ came to earth to save me (I always feel like the worst of sinners no matter what Paul says).
